Well you can distill 'dirty' water back to 'clean' water either by using the sun, or by boiling it.

Purification tablets work too, but unless you are worried about parasites in swamp water, etc, I'd say just boil it, and it kills them anyway. If there's crap in it (not faeces, but dirt/rocks etc) then filter it, boil it, and condense it to collect it in a clean container.

However, in most countries we just run the tap and we get freshly cleaned water, even if it has on average seen about 40 other people. It's just the chemicals that are added in that can present the problems...heh, technically we are the test dummies for that...they're pretty sure it aint gunna kill us, but saying that they didn't know a nuke wouldn't make a chain reaction and destroy the earth when they first tested it....

But then if it's fresh water from the hills, it'll be much more pure than water from the lowlands.

From a technical standpoint, every molecule in your body has been in existance since the beginning of time (a la conservation of mass and energy). Same for every atom, every subatomic partical, every quark, every energy string.

"Recycled" is a bad word for it. It wasnt recycled. That would imply that it was part of something to begin with. Technically speaking, "dyno piss" didnt exist and neither do you. You are just a collection of atoms...
