bush was an idiot...he at least has a reason to start the war in Afganistan because of 9-11 unlike Obama in Libya...the bailouts to the banks and everything else obama did just made the problems bush caused so much worse... bush and obama are both right up there for the worst prsidents in US history....quality of life in America has declined so much over the past 11 years...we cant get a budget under control and so many unemployed people and hes gonna spend billions in libya instead of spending that money on people that cant afford food or housing here in the US.

I'm not saying that being president for another term would be easy, but to just let people shit on you isn't exactly a great display of strength. He's president, and he needs to demand respect. If he can't stand up and get the citizens of America to stand behind him, whose fault is that?

i knew it wouldn't take long for bush's name to come up:)...but that said,i really believe that if you disagreed w/ bush and voted "for change"..how u feelin now??..i mean even a bi-partisian can sit back and ask.what has changed??..i mean obamas big themes were:close gitmo,bring our troops home,get outta afghanistan and iraq,create jobs,etc,etc...well how are those working out??.i mean lets have a discussion on how campaign promises/pledges are working out at the almost 75% of his first term complete.as far as campaign 2012 still to early to pick or coronate..at this point in 2007 hilirary was a shoo-in:)..nice thread howie..should get lively:)

i want to end the federal reserve and a few of the canidates are for ending it...america would then be able to be stable in the future and we could then start to get out of the hole we are in...anything else will just keep adding to the problem and not solve anything...sooner or later we will go bankrupt for sure unless that changes.
