So as you read i got an idea since that searching is every hour then a shortcut in the left panel will be better and faster i would prefer a reminder with the link that search is available

Just make it a bookmark.  This is what I've done for links and pages I go to frequently.  I do this for the Open Market (amenities).  I also do this for inmates online in Arizona, etc. etc.  It's quicker for me personally, then going through the links to find and click the thing.  Try that for now and it should be better than nothing, until Mufasa decides to change this for u...If he see's this necessary.

I actually have my browser (camino) setup only for prison block.  It's setup pretty snazzy I must say.  Everything else I just use Firefox

I think this is a good idea. A little shortcut on the side panel to the left would be good....I like the idea of having a reminder that the search will be avalible....just saves you from checking all the time.
