So last night i was doing a radio interview and the topic of american citizenship came up.   A certain political party (not ones currently in office) says they are opposed to people having american citizenship just because you were born in the united states..... on the basis that if your parents were both illegal immigrants, you shouldnt be considered an american citizen.

They asked my opinion on this.. and my response was  

Thats bullshit, theres no way they could do that, its unconstitutional and to amend it you would have to mandate it so far back and pretty much every person of ethnic decent would be considered what their ancestors were and not an american citizen...

So id all of a sudden be an african and not an african american.

Furthermore, if they were gonna do that and be fair about it, they might as well give the United States back to the population of Indian people that were once here and deny their own cititzenship and take they asses back to england.

I think they just want their opinion to be heard, even probably knowing that they could never initiate the process to get that law passed.

Anyway, just figured id hit PB with some upscale convo.. Id love to know your thoughts on this shit, as i was pretty wowed by it last night.

Here in the uk we are not even citizens, we are subjects of her majisty the queen. Here the queen has the power to close parliment and take full controll of the country at any time she chooses.

Making the retrospective wouldn't make sense. We do need to reform our immigration laws somehow though..

I said If they really want to crack down on illegal immigration, they need to do more border control and stay up on their paperwork.... cause other than that, its a lost cause, unless u want to destroy everything the country was built off of and start from ground zero...... now u know the gov cant handle ground zero, u see how they handled the first one lol

problem is all of the ideas they come up with are garbage. build a wall? come on people will dig tunnels right under that shit and this isnt nazi germany. What i think they should do is take all those unmanned planes we have flying over pakistan and the rest of the middle east and put them in texas, arizona ect..

They have unmanned blimps with cameras watching the border with Canada

nas, britain has it's own ongoing immigration problems and we are on an island. good luck with the plane idea though
