American Citizenship

i just think all countries should remove birthright citizenship's, which would not allow non-citizen immigrants to gain automatic citizenship for their kids born in the country. I find it BS when the parents of a baby want to be able to stay in the country only because their kid was born there, they should have to go through the process like the rest of the applicants who want to gain citizenship or the ability to stay in the country.

What younglord said in his first post about changing the law is very valid and brings up a very interesting argument. Now I am not familiar with the American constitution, as i don't live in the USA, but if change is what is needed, it definitely has to start somewhere and the laws need to adopt with the current times and issues at hand. The points you made i find are very valid arguments and to the most part does like you said seem like an easier cop-out then all the current work which needs to be done.

with all that being said i will ask this question, doesn't it seem like the government has less and less choice on who they want to stay in the country with the current laws in place? i mean more often then not, they will not force the parents out of the country if they have a kid born there.

I said If they really want to crack down on illegal immigration, they need to do more border control and stay up on their paperwork.... cause other than that, its a lost cause, unless u want to destroy everything the country was built off of and start from ground zero...... now u know the gov cant handle ground zero, u see how they handled the first one lol

problem is all of the ideas they come up with are garbage. build a wall? come on people will dig tunnels right under that shit and this isnt nazi germany. What i think they should do is take all those unmanned planes we have flying over pakistan and the rest of the middle east and put them in texas, arizona ect..

Real talk, bring back all them planes ,boats , tanks and troops and use them for DEFENCE aswell.

The Mexican government is another big problem. Theyre all corrupt the police, the army, everyone in Mexico has a price. A simple solution would be legalize marijuana in the U.S. and Mexico. Mexico would continue to bring in 90% of our marijuana but TAXED. The extra income could be reinvested boosting their economy by giving them a HUGE new legit industry. As a resault less of them would risk crossing the border for jobs. Not to mention the extra income we would see from taxing it on our side.. it's really a win win for both sides..

No one here has the balls to really overhaul our constitution. "It's the model for all Democracy"

I always thought that too. We spend so much time and energy trying to help counties so far away but ignore our neighbors. The only way to fix the problem is to improve the living conditions there.
