here in uk its £6.50 for 20 thats over $10 , over 50% of that price is VAT, same as petrol and alcohol.

First of I don't smoke anything, so this just for your information.

In Norway we have huge tax system on cigarettes and tobaccoes!

So a 20pack normal lengt is about 80-90 Norwegian Kroner now I think, and 1US$ is about 5,4NKr.

This means that on 20 pack cost approximately 14,8-16,6 US$. And the Dollars are really low now, normally you gotta pay 6-7,5 NKr to 1 US$.

So if you live in Norway, don't smoke!

PS, if you are visiting Norway, we have strong custom rules about tobacco, alcohol, drugs etc, so read up if you want to bring any!
