this phase is a derivitive from psalm 34:11...... "come my children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the lord" *A.K.A. warden. Basically what this phrase is stating is that you have to hit rock bottom to learn from your mistakes, which I have done many times. I was arrested for trafficking 210 bags of dope. I was a drug addict for years and a drug dealer. I put that before all my loved ones. I spent a good quality of time in jail, where I was able to read up on the bible and think of my sins everyday. Years before that, I have stolen, robbed, manipulated, and numerous of other sins to the ones closest to me and to people I didnt even know. Laying down on the hard thin mattress, plastic pillow, listening to the screaming of all the other inmates through the vents the last time i was there. I realized i have reached rock bottom. Then on 4/20/2009, my daughter Briana was born. My fiancee and daughter stuck through my sentence of 2 years. Now that I am out, i realize what true love is, and besides a little pot here and there i have been clean of all other drugs. Now i take care and raise my daughter while my fiancee goes to work to support us, while i am at home unable to leave due to a ankle braclet. Gives me more time to think about my sins everyday, but in return they get healed by watching something new my daughter does everyday.
