Currently any cash in my bank, is staying in the bank gathering interest until that day randomly I see that cheapish console on the market for a couple of mill....

I think the bank limit is a good idea, but if it was to be extended in any way, I'd say double what it currently is at the very most, it keeps the balance. Besides, you're better off spending your cash training!

Let's say we increase bank limits. What else could that do?

This increases the amount of money that you, and everyone else, could have. Since everyone has more money, inflation in the market happens, at which point you'd have the same problem you have now: some items are difficult to obtain because you won't have the cash for it easily.
