Maybe a slot for an item that would be used mid battle?   or perhaps if you got attacked?

Cigarettes would be nice too.   Dying for a smoke.

smokes could be like favors strictly between players

I think he means smokes are just strictly a form of currency between players... but it doesn't work cause then they only help low to mid level people, and we already have money to do that
