Hopefully this makes more sense. Say I wanted to sell my fridge for paypal lets say $5 I can list it for real money say on a list of items for sale through paypal. Someone sees the item on the list of items that are for sale from everyone and wants to buy it so they click the buy button and fill out there paypal info to finish the sale. Once their payment is accepted the item will automatically be transfered to the buyers cell. I dont know if theres a way for the money to be transfered to someones paypal through the game after but you could take a % out as a transfer fee so everytime an item is bought and sold for real cash it still makes the game money to keep doing what they are doing.

Maybe Im not explaining it right? I dont really know a lot about how that stuff works which may be part of the problem too, Guess you could compare it to our market for game cash but instead using real money. If someone understands that and can explain it better please do so lol

No, I get what you mean, and it's not something I want to do. Not only would it not be possible to AUTOMATICALLY pay you when you get a sale, it would start up the whole trading with real money thing

hmmmm i spent a considerable amount of time searching for this thread... lol... because i didn't want to start another one...

I have just been in the market forum but it does my head in... i was wondering about this auction system that someone mentioned earlier... i think that it would be useful to have something... that could get it more organised... i love online auctions... we don't have an ebay... but rather something called trade me out here... what would be useful here... is something similar... where people set a reserve... a closing time... and ... a way for people to place bids... and a section for questions...

I think the confusion with selling for items or game money... could be eliminated... with there being a blurb section... that stated... what the person would be expecting the game cash amount to be transferred into at the end of the auction... so people bid in cash... then if they were expecting it to come in items they could tick or indicate which ones they wanted... the person holding the auction could specify what amount they would be exchanging at... like an exchange rate....

I think this would help with all the jacking of auction threads which make it extremely difficult to understand... also... if the auction could automatically be deleted...then it would mean that there would be a gazillion threads for metal fan auctions... there would still be a section for questions... which could be at the end of the auction page... so people could see where the bids were at... as they would all be in cash... it would make it more logical... and... i think it might eliminate some... not all... off the manipulation that can occur with... what people call auctions around here...

Annnnyyyy wayyyy... long post i am sorry... (can hear people already saying that she loves the sound of her own type and waits for people to start cutting her idea to pieces)...

^^^ what she said

short version my lil 2 cents also

Market place

Have where the seller can chose to auction or straight sale (like the open market now)

if seller choses to auction it off......they choose a reserve price example : i want to sale a Metal Fan reserve (200,000) wont sale unless the bids reach 200k... after the bids go past 200K sale continues at the end time.....

Seller choses how long the auction would last.....example 1-7 days........

longer the auction the more cash it cost

the higher the reserve the more cash it cost to make the listing.......

and keep a certain % of the final sale?

and about the paypal this shiz crazy

seems like he would get into legal shit there

if he incorparted paypal into the site

with the paypal thing, its not a legal problem. it simply cant be done. he would have to have custom links for each person selling the item. sorta like donate buttons.
