Biggie was ahead of his time lyrically. Tupac exploded on the scene with a militant mentality that was more lyrical then Public Enemy and other rappers when he came out. He also came out as an actor the same time his debut album came out, so he had the hood and Hollywoodbehind him and had politicians trying to take him down. Thats why he was more respected by me

Pacs songs had meaning. Big was a gd rapper, but at the end of the day not many of his songs told stories, nor held much meaning behind em

big is the best story teller there has ever been

not many rappers have been able to rap about the same subject matter throughout a whole song, big was so lyrical that in his songs that it paints a picture of what was going on, didnt need a video to show it just listen and you can see it in your mind

pac has 10x the material recorded, hes still coming out with new stuff

i think if you got them on a same track that big would out do pac

for me its biggie then pac followed by nas, jay and then pun/dmx/eminem all tied for 5th

Like I said lyrically BIG was better but Pac was more Amped and political but still hood at the same time which is why he is more influential to people. BIG was a beast tho.
