seems very complicated to actually mine for bitcons yourself and as it seems also that the faster the computer the faster that you can mine which rules me and my shitty laptop out lol.

Way too confusing to figure that out while slobbing on sofa with ipad... but am I reading correctly that 1 bit coin is about £5?

Got a good PC, just too far from the router for fast enough speeds perhaps. still may have to give this a go lol

EDIT: so it just some imaginary currency?

Basically it's a virtual currency. The currency is stored in a virtual wallet. If you lose the file the money is taken from the system.

Its pretty stupid in my opinion. Look it up on youtube, people have some hardcore computer systems just to mine for the bitcoin. Thus paying more for electricity than they'll ever make on using this bitcoin.

Bitcoins DO have value. Don't look at them and compare them to dollars or euros, compare them to gold. Gold has a monetary value only because it's useful (and shiny), so the same should apply to bitcoins, no?
