Ok so I have been playin this game for a month and a half now and I have never seen the Shady Stranger or the guard etc. offer DVD's for favors.

So when the hell do they actually offer them?

Also how often are firesales?  Are they just random?

usually at a random time of the day when the dvds come out in the USA.

tottally random on thte fire sales, but dvds are out on fridays
