a pretty simple idea which could makes things interesting:-

seen as bootleg joe looks to be staying which is a good addition, my idea is that when a dvd gets taken from you can try to 'protect' your dvd

so basically maybe being able to get like 5 people (from your gang or friends) to stand round joe and have an option to attack anyone that comes near joe or goes to buy the dvd

makes the gang thing a little more useful and also makes the yard become more active

What's stopping gangs from doing it now?

yeh but theres no stopping people at the minute as they could rush in and buy the dvd before he pops up maybe have next to the buy bootleg dvd (protected) or something meaning there will be an attack before you buy the dvd etc

What happens when a person from your own gang buys it "accidentlly" and joe moves, how would he still be gaurded?

I think its impossible to factor in the variables to gaurd other gangs from joe atm but when gang territories become part of the game, obviously this will be automatic...
