Oh hai thar!

We've been playing with creating our own chat client for prisonblock for a while now, and we've got a beta version rolled out. I first want to stress that this is a VERY early build and there WILL BE ISSUES!

For now the bar will only support chatting with people on your friend's list. We'll expand it to allow you to go invisible, block people, add quicklinks for pages you visit often etc, but right now this is extremely bare bones.

So, who gets to play with it? Well, this thing is going to be prone to crashes and other crazy shit, so we're going to make it available only to those who actually read the forums and should have been here long enough to understand all of this. This means, if you're level 12 or higher AND you've linked your facebook account you will see the bar effective immediately.

Please note, even though the bar sorta looks like the old facebook bar, and I'm rolling it out to connected users, the chat has NOTHING to do with facebook. We just figured if you're a high level and you connected your FB account, chances are you check the announcements often-enough to understand what's going on here.

Please report bugs where you find them, but also check to make sure it's not already reported. Please do not start posting feature requests. You'll only clutter the thread, and we'll ignore them because we're focusing on getting this thing stable for now.
