i think she did it and hope she gets the death penalty

I think she killed her daughter but I dont know if the evidence proves that beyond a reasonable doubt.

yea i know there aint no smokin gun i think she will be found guilty i just dont know if she will get the death penalty jury has been deliberating for 2 hours now

I think she's guilty as sin, however there isn't a lot of hard forensic evidence tying her to it. It's a hard case to prove, I think the prosecution did a good job, and I think her representation (Baez) is ineffective at best.

The defense should have crossed their arms, looked @ the prosecution when they opened with their theory and said "prove it". Instead Baez went on about how it was an accidental drowning, thereby admitting his client had something to do with the disappearance. Now all the prosecution had to do was prove that she didn't drown, the defense admitted 1/2 of the prosecution's case was correct straight away. Made their job much easier.

Anybody who can kill their own child deserves to die.

I doubt she will get the death penalty. Our country is still infant in regards to woman versus men. Hell, it wasn't until a short time ago that woman could serve in the military (short time in relevance to humanity). With that said, putting a woman to death intentionally because of a crime is right up there. Though, we are turning the tide on it as I just looked up the statistics. Still comparatively speaking, the populace scoffs at the idea of a woman being executed.

I hope she gets the death penalty "IF" found guilty. I just don't think she will and in turn will get a lengthy 200 life sentences that make no fucking sense. Our system is so fucked up it's beyond retardation. I just read the other day that a business man was sentenced to 3 years for stealing upwards of 3 billions dollars (can't remember the time frame of the crime and yes he was white) however a man stole a $100 bill from a bank teller and then RETURNED it and got sentenced to 15 years.... Reminds me of this sponsorship scandal or Enron-type fraud of some sort that happened up here and the suit was sentenced to 18 months in a country club, whereas the poor burned out slag who robs a store to feed his gambling addiction gets couple years in the max-sec... For about 400 dollars.

But this remorseful guy turning himself in and getting 15 years is straight ridiculous. Can't wait for Rapture...... should be any day now hopefully~
