A CD will play in every DVD player I've come across, so how come they don't play in the DVD players in our cells, or is it like this to make use of the CD players & Stereos? ...even though they are worth having more than the DVD player...just an idea.

google says old bluray players just did blurays but nearly all newer bluray players are Bluray/DVD/CD compatible.

And I was just talking about the old DVD player, but I suppose this is also about the Bluray player as well.
