I was changing my connector from my heater hose to the manifold and the connector broke off at the threads...any suggestions?

I am currently trying to chip it out since the piece was alloy and can easily break but I don't want to drop any in that hole.

try an easy out..but if its stuck hard enough it broke..i doubt that will get it

try this if u got room...

1. is a hacksaw blade

2. if the hole is too small for the blade...grind the top part off so it will fit easily

3..cut the thread vertically that are stuck at 12,3,6,9...cut as far as u can though the threads..but stop before u get into the receiving threads..dont damage the manifold threads

4..use a chisel and try to break out each of the four sections...try to crush them towards the center of the hole...normally they wont break completely loose to fall in the hole..but u can fold them in and that action breaks the threads loose

btw..u gotta use yur hands with the hacksaw blade so wear gloves...if u dont understand..or cant try this..pm me

@ the pic!

I get what your saying, I just need to saw in those places and it should break it up a lot easier. I need a saw and a small chisel, maybe I can use a mini screw driver.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated, I'll check back in later and let you know how it came out.

I fixed it, the piece the guy sold me was to big, so Im cool now.

I just got to change the heater control valve cause its leaking coolant now, but nothing major...I'll do that when it cool off, its hot as a firecracker out here!
