These are all subjective arguments, there's no real facts involved. Some think it's fucked up some don't. If you want to use discretion and not use a word that historically was used against Black Slaves, and then decades afterwards, I think that's better, that's why most people don't use it. Simple as that, if you choose to use it it's your choice, if people get offended (black people in particular) then it's your own problem because they have a right to be offended I think.
