I am all for making society as even as possible but you can't hate someone just because they are rich... usually (not always but usually) rich people get rich by working hard. I do pretty well but at some points in my life I have had to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week. Currently I work 12-14 hour days solving complex engineering problems... should I get paid the same as someone who works 8 hours a day doing a repetitive job requiring no thought?

I have worked some laborious jobs when I was younger (90 hour week bar jobs, pie factory, cleaning toilets and sweeping roads etc) and I can tell you what I do now is much harder! Physically its obviously not, but I am much more worn out after a day in the lab than I used to in those other jobs. There is also the mental pressure and responsibility and its difficult not to forget about work when you are home if you get what I mean. At 25 I am already starting to go grey from stress! lol
