As some may have noticed, I've linked Prisonblock with facebook. Now this does NOT mean that Prisonblock will become an app on facebook. Their API is too restrictive to do much of what we already do here, so that's not likely ever going to happen.

What it DOES mean though is that:

• New users can sign up using their FB account instead of filling out the form, confirming email address etc.
• You can link your FB account to PB to easily make posts to your wall to get more referrals (which earn favors), and also be able to sign in using your facebook account*
• FB-linked accounts will be protected from dupe bans. Now, I may regret this down the line, but accounts linked to facebook will be seen as SOMEWHAT unique. This means that while you CAN still be marked as a dupe of someone, if that person gets banned, you will NOT automatically be banned too. However, if I find out down the line that you ARE the same person, you can and most likely WILL be banned.
• I will be supplementing the voting links (if I bring them back), with facebook actions. You will likely get up to 2 favors per day for actions like sharing pblock events like hits posted, battles etc. These will be rolled out over the next few weeks where I see fit.

*Please note that if you try to login with facebook BEFORE you link your EXISTING pblock account to facebook, then it will try to match your account by email address, but if that fails it WILL create a NEW account for you using your FB credentials. So the safest bet is to FIRST link your account here: http://www.prisonblock.com/my-account -- you also get 10 favors for doing so.

how will i know if my account has been linked succesfully, i clicked the link and followed the instructions, but no events..

if it's linked the link button will disappear and a notice will say at the top stating the link worked and you'll have favors. If not, chanced are the linking did not work.

i have the pb post on my facebook wall now, if people click on it does it take them to pb sign up? and do i get the refferal points for it ?

if your referrals meet the requirements, then as usual, you get the 10 favors for referring them as well.

When posting the refferal badge on facebook is it suppposed to display like it does in the rap sheet as mine does not

not at all. You can still register WITHOUT facebook, you can still refer friends WITHOUT facebook. Facebook is not replacing ANYTHING.
