hmm mu excuse me if this is out of line or if you disagree although i think the favors market has put aa whole new turn on prison block, in my honest opinion one for the worst, really there is no point in criming anymore, trading withen the game used to be done threw game cash and items, which i think that was what i was designed to be, i was just thinking if we could have some sort of balance between teh two, maybe you can only list 1 amenity per week for favors, or 3 amenitys per month, or that the favors market is only open the last week of the month, and what isnt sold is returned to the seller like normaly, feel free to express any opinions, i just think it would be nice to see a balance between the favor market and cash market

The thing is, you can't buy cell upgrades, respected, dvds from joe, and things from the warden without favors. What can you buy with items, other than trading with players? Favors act as a much more useful currency, and since they have so many more applications they're more desirable. It's the player's choice to buy or sell for favors.

As I understand it, the people in the higher prisons still have loads of favors. Call it trickle-down or whatever, but they buy from noobs for favors and flip them for items, allowing them to circulate more easily. Admittedly, quite a few of the higher levels are douchers, and keep all of the items, but it's been working out fairly well so far.

i 100% agree with you although dont you think something has to be done, everything is alittle to excessive now, my concern isnt for me but for new players and others who just want to play a game and be able to succeed without getting a second morgage on their house lol

im just saying take a look at the market rigth now, the cheapest thing i can see on there is a self defence book for 300k, isnt that odd to you, and 95% of things sold for these days are either sold for paypal or favors, this game hasnt become much of a game anymore, it is more of a business in which contain thousands of smaller business' withen

True, new players would be having difficulty surviving if everything was going for either millions of cash or hundreds of favors. But they're not. Newbies get 5 favors a day free. They can get things in 2 days that they normally would have had to save up for over the course of a month. Things are going cheaper on the market than they go for in the warden's office.

How easily do you think they would have normally saved up 50k for a tv just searching the yard and playing games? Now they can get it in just 2 days, and still have a few favors left over. It's not that bad.

I wasn't sure I liked it either.. But figure all things gotta change. Search enough and you will find threads about people disliking all amenity sales being for items instead of plain cash on market.

Also your suggestion will just mean the market will be empty until a flood during favours week... which.. actually I kinda like the sound of now I think about it lol
