Philthy...I am Canadian but also watch the news and am a history and documentary buff - that being said - You have to wonder what president the corporations will buy you guys next year?
IMHO Ron Paul is your best choice out of all republican candidates. As many others have said, he doesn't stray from his plan, he doesn't get outraged or make outrageous claims. Cool, calm and tells it like it is. You know he is a major contender when the media won't cover him - they'll cover who they are told to cover - sad really. The others flip flop so much they could form their own clean energy concern. I recall 4 years ago when Huckabee put out his plan for your country to rebuild infrastructure and roadways - it fell on deaf ears - then McCain picked it up and ran with it - that campaign was a joke in itself. (ZaneJ see below)
But, Romney has more money to play with therefore he can buy more ad time thus more supporters and has more corporate influence. So even though Ron Paul should get the nod, it will fall to Romney. That's not to say he will win the election - the presidential election isn't won by taking Iowa. Obama himself said 3 years ago he would run again because he didn't want to let Romney take any credit for work he had done. We all know... Obama will win another term.

@ZaneJ - now I know you are full on retarded... McCain... really? You trust that idiot even though he brought the most moronic people into his campaign to serve your people?
