spent about 50 favors total and about 10 hours and got about 5 head bands and 1 protected ninjahog...some people have easily made 1000+ favors from this event

fair enough. I know I can just buy the fucker, but damn, having to spend 150-200 favs just to protect it after I buy it? ugh.
