If they do get added, for the sake of simplicity, the quest will not require you to have them equipped.

You will be able to purchase either of the faction's packs when the event is over. So if you didn't participate, you can buy both. If you did, you can buy the one for the side you fought against.

This is exactly correct. Both factions use the Head and Hat slots. It was easier this way.

can somebody give me exact spot wolves at and the vampire ladies dont give me any options.....already turned 50 pelts in and didnt shit happen so now im trying to do bats..
