I like the idea of the sorting thing, but I'm not to sure about the hiding spots. Raiding takes a lot of time and there is very little reward for doing so, as is, for the most part. If i had to raid a bunch of empty spots before i actually found something good then it would be just too much trouble and not worth it imo.

Originally posted by mu24 Creative idea but come to think of it there would be a whole load of scripting to be done on the ammens as well and to add to it what if lets say you hide your EDS in your bookcase, and if you remove the bookcase will the items go back to your inventory or will it stay in the bookcase and while this is an added security for raiding it will also defeat the purpose of raiding as it is a game of chance and there is a bigger chance that you wont be able to raid anything, which than MU would have to do something to balance that out, maybe raid more than 1 item, lets say 1% of the total amount.

PS: While at this, would be great if Mufasa would create a new ammen call "the bag" where you can add 30-40 lump of coals into it to create a bag of coal.

Oh... i didn't mean for there to be a link between actual amenities and my suggested "hiding places". The hiding places would be more like tabbed sections for you to sort your items. Sorry for the confusion.

I have to agree on this, thus the minimum 1% of total items if this ever happen that is. So if you are holding 20k eds, 1% would be 200 eds, not to bad for a raid.

People will end up hiding all their items, or as many as they can when they go offline. There's already very little reason to raid (Cornucopias gave us hope) so I think as far as hiding is concerned, the backpack hiding method is fine, otherwise store with friends.

If there were more reward or risk in raiding I would see a necessity in having a more flexible hiding system.

My idea is no... if you wanted to hide all of your items in one "hiding place" that would be your right(although with raiding concept i think the idea would be to spread out your items in order to lessen the chance of them being stolen)... we don't have a limit (that i know of) to how many items in our possession now so i don't see why that would change. However that is just how my idea is laid out in my mind... I don't know if that would work for the logistics of the game or not.

say you have 34574 EDS you should be able to only store a certain amount of items in your cell because i doubt our cells can hold that much

Agree as well, though for the most part agreeing on the part where you can raid more items. But the word "too much work", "not necessary" would be the words that come to mind.

I see your point, and i appreciate it.... but my point is that you can have any number of people working on a raid... I haven't been playing all that long but I've seen several raiding parties in the forums... there is no way to have a cell defense party... i thought that this could level the playing field a little bit. The only defense you have against raiding is changing your code, and you can only do that while online, however the hiding spots will be there even when you're logged off.

Thanks Jaymeal... I honestly don't have any experience with raiding... only reading about it in the forums...it was just a novel idea that came to mind when I was thinking about a shorting option.
