gotcha... i was referring to your comment regarding "writing a novel" At any rate... I'm getting off topic...I like your idea for a cellar or a side chamber of some sort.

yes, but we have to think logically no matter how much you have of an item you have some means of space for that item(s). If we can store an endless supply of items into a cell that on the other hand is considered impossible so we have to have a limit to the items we can hide also there aren't that much hiding spots anyway if you haven't got that much amens. So this chamber if you will can give you more space to stuff you belongings into my extension to your original idea is raw but i have tried to explain it to the best of my ability.

If you have a "TV on a crate" then you can hide say 10 of an item(s) into the crate.

If you have a "stereo system" then you can store 7 of an item(s) into it.

that kind of thing, like other people have said being able to store all of you items into your cell makes it pointless in raiding in the first place because the rewards if any are low. I cant say right or wrong as it is your suggestion, I'm going to wait for other people to give their views.

I guess I've never had a large amount of items... But I did not know there was a limit to the amount, of say, small waters you could conceivably have in your possession. I am NOT talking about amenities whatsoever.

Another spot of confusion. Your "cell" and your "item/drugs" are two totally different sections. I am NOT talkin about combining them, my suggested feature only concerns the "items/drugs" section.

Originally posted by gramz2010 First off: I want to say that I did take the time and searched the forums to see if anything like this has been suggested before, and was unsuccessful at finding anything. If though I missed a thread that relates to this subject, please forgive my oversight.

Okay, so here's the jist of my suggestion/thought:

*Having the feature to "hide"/sort your items(not amenities) in your cell.

-as listed in the title some examples of "hiding places" are: (1)in your mattress; (2)in the tank of your toliet; (3)behind the books in the bookcase,(4)shoebox under your bunk, ect. I'm sure if this suggestion is well liked, and is possible to be added without a lot of difficulty, Mu and his crew will be able to come up with some great ideas!

*I think that there can be TWO uses of this feature:

-1st,the ability to sort your items. For example, you could organize your items to your liking: stamina items in your shoebox, energy items in your mattress, combination items in your bookcase, and your rare items in your toilet tank. Of course these are only examples of how you can sort, everyone would have the ability to "hide" their items however they would like and change, too, the sorting of their items,(as often as they like, but of course for a fee just like changing your code to your cell), which comes into play in the second part of the feature...

-2nd,When someone raids your cell they only have the option to search one "hiding place" in your cell. So if someone raids my cell, and they chose to search my book case the might only be able to steal my chocolate and energy drink stash, but if they decided to search my shoe box they might be able to snag my ruby slippers and candy corn, and so on.

I think this feature can be beneficial to the game in a couple of ways. First, a way to sort items in your cell, as there is not currently a way to. Secondly, it would add another element to the raiding process, and give the person being raided a little bit of control on the randomly selected items that are stolen.

Please forgive me that this is a bit rough on the edges and rather long...its 3am and I wanted to get it out of my mind while it was fresh. I am sorry for such a long post but I wanted to fully explain my idea. I hope that this will bring a good discussion, I welcome constructive criticism, as well as, other additions to my idea.

Lastly, thank you to all that took the time to read this and I look forward to the comments! -Gramz

Originally posted by gramz2010 An addition to my suggestion... maybe making each tabbed section ("hiding place") available by purchase only with favors. Rank tabs in size, ie "shoe box" would hold less items, and a "mattress" more. Obviously a "shoe box" would cost less than a "mattress" and then you could purchase one or all tabbed sections. That way if someone doesn't find them necessary they do not need to use/purchase them and vice versa.

*** just to clarify my suggestion to CREATE "hiding places" (new sections in your "items/drugs" page) Not to hide your items in the amenities that you have in your cell.

::sigh::

I'll check back in few so see whats new. Thanks again for everyone's imput thus far.

No, it's not a bad idea, but now that the backpack exists, you have even more protection for your items

Mufasa is there a limit to adding spaces in your bag pack? The default is 4, how many can it go to?

mufasa, i think uphold take it into consideration as to how secure our items will be. I got raided and lost not only close to 5k but atlas 1 of each of my items, even ruby slippers. A stash spot would be niceeven if there is 4spaces in a backpack just let us know wats up
