So if you dont know this guy was a tight end (one of the elite ones in the NFL) for the New England Patriots. Today he got charged with 1st degree murder and 5 gun charges. Supposedly they have a ton of evidence against him and it is seeming like he's going to prison no matter what... just how long is up in the air. He got denied bail as well. To top his day off he got released by his team. Before he got charged a lot of people were saying how he'd get off like Ray Lewis did back in 2000.... doesn't seem to be the case....

JimmyTh...I totally agree... just wanted to share the news with people who weren't aware of the situation. I'm a Jets fan so this brought a smile to my face. I'm also tired of athletes getting off with a slap on wrist (examples : OJ and ray lewis)
