i think a good tip for newbies is instead of listing amens for $1 try to pick an odd number the sniper wont be expecting like $16 or $39. that way a sniper looking for $1 amens wil be all like 'huh?' and 'what?' and will be too confused to snipe it. It cost $100 minimum to list an amenity anyway so if ur in new jersey be creative and list for any amount under $100. sticky this under 'best practices'

bad idea. the amen list refreshes and puts the items price lowest to highest. so if the dvd player thats 50k is the lowest price amen if you put something up for 51 it will put it after it and less chance.

most lower levels dont have the cash to list for 51k - that costs 5,100 listing fee. i think youre safe to list for $1 but you have to be quick. list ur amenity for $1 then *really really quickly* write the other person an email saying to go check the market, and advise them to hurry (say in the email 'hurry hurry hurry'). if youre quick enough, and so is the other person, you should be safe. speed is the key. most lower levels sell in new jersey anyway, so snipers in putnam and arizona cant even see the items for sale.
