I hear ya wizz, honestly what surprises me is how much some people are willing to pay for shit too we talking like with the same price ppl wanna pay for a wii you can get a real one?? But still I think it depends on what you got too, because ppl put money into this game n if they leaving n need money i dont see it as that bad because they just trying to get some of their cash back but i don't like ppl trying to make this into a part-time job where they make money off of it, especially because its the smaller guys in the game who suffer, I mean I play for fun i dont wanna have to spend 500 bucks to make it in this game I want a fair shot at it like the earlier players got to have. your right. and If I had no help to get this fake stuff and was solo I would probably sell it also.. but to sell this stuff for real money when m y friends can make use of it is crazy......I got maybe less than 200 bucks real money into my game and I got almost everything....alot of shit.. I pay nothing for it.. I only paid for respect and a few favors....and I can make $600 or more of my cell but why? I didn't pay that much for it.... so why would I rip my friends off??? I don't see that point.. Its not ripping someone off if you aggree a price before hand, they pay it and you deliver the goods, thats business, my friend has spent over $600 on this game , in favors respected and player transactions in a few months and he now has EVERY item and ammenity. No-one forced him to spend $600+ and no-one ripped him off, so if he decides to try and sell things for a profit, why shouldn't he, he took the risk of buying them for real cash in the first place, with no guarentee of inflation, risk = reward, stick ur neck out occasionally

Also , its not as if he is hoarding people's food supplys, the cure for cancer or anything that people REALLY need. Its just little pictures, that give stat bonus's in a game that people dont really need, so if they want to spend some of their disposable income on their entertainment, so that they can progress faster in the game, then why the hell not?.

I like the ruthless , capatilistic nature of this GAME, i think its what makes it unike, and can teach you alot about the nature of people and their greed. Pity people couldnt keep it only for games though.

it is really hard this one... it comes down to people's natures at times...and you are right eazy... it does teach you alot about the nature of people and oneself...

i had a lot of help when i started this game... for real... i was lucky... that i started when i did... stuff wasn't as expensive as it is now... coal was on the market for like 18k... and i brought playboys off the market for 600k... which seemed like heaps at the time... so now i try to help people out when i can... i have been crazy impressed with steve's thread... trying to sell stuff cheaper so newer players get a chance...

it is impossible to ask people not to sell stuff for real money when many have now paid real money for them... i guess it shows the drive people have to be at the top of the game...which they must love... it is hard though when many don't have that type of money to spend...

I think there is a definite line that is crossed which sends it from respectable commerce to out right ugly greed...

a game it is... no doubt... but so much of it mirror society with its social classes... IoI... oh god i seriously need to get some sleep...

If I'm being honest this is a two way debate as both sides will have their opinion about this. I actually do think this is pretty stupid because what everyone has earned on this game is for free, we didn't pay to buy all this stuff, we got it from game cash that we earned or free favours. I know a lot of time and effort has been put into getting those amenities but at the end of the day if your going to leave a game you should just give the amenities away to your gang mates or people who need those amenities to get the opportunity to make a start in this game.

At the end of the day, it's just a game, if your leaving then you should just give away your amenities to people that need them. It's as simple as that really, you can earn money from working so I doubt a little cash from this game is going to get you anywhere in life.
