Checking they page is not hard but it is a pain when I'm trying to remember what I'm doing and if it relates to what somebody else said pertaining to this email (you know cross ref type of thing).

yeah but a persons light stays on until like 3 minutes after they log off or if they aint doin nuthing so u could still send a message n they might have logged out already but itll show they still on

Even still reading they message don't let you know that that person has been active 3min or 30min...sometime it takes that long to get to them....

Dealing with runners is the immediate fix... during transactions would help a lot also or beefs/bounties/or catching a person in a lie....

maybe make the change of someone sitting idle/typing/reading...to this person has logged out like the chat does...so you know they ain't truly gone or what not
