Im not sure if it is at all possible but Im thinking it would be handy to have a I.M. on here so we can just talk to people through that  as well as still sending messages

what like a seperate optional pop up? and you could create chat sections like the forums , marketplace etc.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they don't let us use facebook here in UK.

And besides.. Facebook IM is the worst example of an in-browser chat I can think of. It just does not work.
