is it like a walkie talkie only its for computers? man i feel so lost

basically it was like a mix of instant messaging mix wit a forum cuz of chans and you could share data if u felt the need to and most shit on there is command based kinda like DOS there rly aint no GUI

damn it's been almost 8 or 9 years since I've been on iRC. the old days of downloading pre-release mp3's from bots on efnet.
