Bro, do a google search of fault lines, tectonic plates, underground magma flows and all the geo shit. You will find that the earths faults and plates constantly move. Some faster than others, some have more abrupt reactions than others and some happen a lot more than others do. There are faults everywhere man. You guys were due and as I pointed out in another thread, we only see a snapshot of time on this earth. Just because you haven't ever had an earthquake doesn't mean there haven't been dozes or hundreds in that area within the billions of years that the planet is old.

In regards to this, this is such a slippery slope argument because for every book you find giving proof I could find one disproving it. Theory's are theory's. Hell, when Japan got hit with the earthquake that "earthquake forecaster" predicted that California would be getting a large one or worse yet, the Pacific Northwest. Near happened.

You have to remember, theory's are just that, theory's. No one can predict the future, they can only take a "good guess" or at least as good of guess that the past can tell them.

to add to that there could have been plenty of small earthquakes that just didnt have a big shift/effect so you didnt feel them

I for one believe there r aliens. It would b arrogant as a species to think that we r the only intelligent beings with a planet that sustains life in the entire universe. There r billions of galaxies with millions of solar systems like ours and hundreds of planets similar to ours. and u guys really dont believe there r aliens somewhere out there?
