I dont usually sport my opinions in too many forums. So maybe this

will hold some depth with Mufasa, and maybe taken into consideration

for the long awaited Louisianna .1st off Id like to say Ive enjoyed

playing this game. Ive enjoyed watching it grow and while I havent

agreed with all the changes I will say that they have made this game

better and therefore more fun to play.   However the limited number of

Dvds coming out each week make it so that people that casually play

this game (2-3hrs per day)  cannot keep up.  The inflation this causes

is too dramatic and causes auctions for everything instead of people

using the marketplace for what it is for. I understand the necessity of

having some "rare amenities" but this system makes game currency just

about useless. Everything nowadays is bought and sold in Nrg drinks.

Which brings me to my next subject...raising the price on nrg drinks in

Jersey destroyed the whole concept of having lower level runners in

gangs. When I first got to AZ it was important for me to have

relationships with lower level players because they had something to

offer. now they have nothing.

Finally do you believe its

a coincidence that quite a few long time players are leaving? I dont

believe its the prospect of recieving 70$ per console thats making these players retire. I think It something more and should be looked at.

       Thanks for listening,

Sbuilder

Yes. Too many auctions and too much inflation.

You don't say much builder but i like it when you do. The biggest problem i think is that mufasa likes making all the money from people buying all these favors to get all the new dvds and other "rare amenities" and y shouldn't he i know i would. But on the other hand it does make people think twice about not playing or putting there money into the game anymore. What are your thoughts Mu?

I think some of the auctioning problem could be addressed by larger bank accounts. People deal in items because inevitably, you sell something for 2M on market, and run the risk of being mugged while you are offline. If banks could hold more, I think we'd use more cash, but the way things stand right now, items are more secure.

i agree with everything you said sbuilder. another factor that's causing all the inflation is these auctions for real cash. i can understand people leaving the game that want to recoup some of their investment, but there are plenty of players who aren't going anywhere that are selling amenities for money now. i've bought and sold playboys for maybe 12mil game cash, but if i paid $30 or 40 for one, you can bet it wouldn't be going anywhere at a normal price.

the dynamics of the game have changed drastically since the dvds came out. i dont think it would be too far fetched to say a lot of these long time members are leaving becuz they feel they cant keep up. its a tuff call to say whats better tho. i like the dvds, gives me something else to do... on the flip side, there are many cons to them also. how i look at it is dude made a damn good, addictive game, ima fall back from questioning the decision makin. thats just me tho...

1) Things are being bought in drinks and waters because that's what people are equating with money. You'll find that the overdosing was added right around the time people started abusing the drinks and such (which is also the reason the prices of the items go up)

2) As for long time players leaving... I don't know about you guys, but I've never played anything for that long (heck even Halo I occasionally pick up). It's a natural ebb and flow in gaming (I'm happy to have 3-6 month regulars), but if they're leaving because there's rare DVDs? Come on, that's just nonsensical.

Lastly, you made observations, but I didn't see any "suggestions". If you are suggesting DVDs be removed, I disagree. I think it adds a fun element for the in-game "collectors" and for those who want to actually use the item, they tend to offer some pretty good benefits.

The DVDs are priced at a point where 1 days voting (well, before I removed that one site) will get you one. They are LIMITED which means there's not many favors being spent on them, and reselling is typically done in game cash or items -- where do I profit? As I said, I like offering something new for people to look forward to every week.

I think the core undertone of this post is actually more of the "I'm not on when the DVDs come out so I didn't get one", because as I said, you offered no "suggestions" (which I'd be open to hearing of course), but merely a complaint that you can't keep up...
