Rather than receiving money directly for an amenity/hit, have an option to pay an additional 10-25% of the price to keep the money safe until you collect it so you aren't robbed of your earnings while you're offline. Da's 'bout it.

That makes sense to a point, but when you're listing 40mil worth of items/amenities, will selling a bit lower really help? For you to substantially reduce the risk of being mugged, you would have to cut a lot from your revenue. That's not an easily acceptable loss. I have a few other reasons for this suggestion, like the fact that this would remove money from circulation rather than just transferring it, but in the long run I suppose the merit of this addition would be decided by how much it is used, and so if players don't approve of the suggestion they aren't very likely to use it if it were to be implemented.
Death_H...Most people sell for favs or eds so not an issue. Also hits you can only complete when online (except shared ones but again, they are less common and the rewards is usually less). If you are worried, train more speed.

just gotta list at a price you know is gonna sell while your online, if its not selling u listed it for too much...if your gonna list then go to sleep for 8 hours then that was dumb...list when u wake up and can check in throughout the day so u can spend the cash when it gets bought
and most things are either are listed for favors or traded for items so there are ways to prevent this from happening or if u really need the cash find a buyer before u list.
