Placebo effect folks. You see something new and automatically associate it. Speed-wise (meaning loading pages) this should have ZERO impact since it's loaded by iframe. Now if your browser is stuttering while rendering it, that's another issue, but if you're saying that the site is loading slower for you, then there has to be another reason.

im not saying your wrong or anyhting but my computer was working perty fast before the chat and now that the chat thing is there its slowing me way down it has a 45 second delay

ok,the people i have just talked to are using XP,or internet explorer.

these are the ones that are running slow.

down load chrome,or firefox,and everyone should be fine.

i downloaded chrome ran different sites and still same problem

I'll look into if that's possible, but since if they leave the window open, the chat bar continuously talks to the server, technically they ARE online as far as it's concerned.

thanks, i like the chat though this site hasnt stopped improving since i started.
