im not talking about the year not being hiphop... i mean TYPING RAPS ON FORUMS is 1998 shit... we only did that when we couldnt send files back and fourth at high speed.. and it took 45 minutes to download a mp3. its 2010... rappers that actually work dont do shit like that anymore. i used to do all that corny online rap battle shit back then.

and the true essence of hiphop is not lyrics.... if u listen to the sugar hill gang and old school shit like that, none of those those guys were lyrically amazing as a mf like big daddy kane or rass kass or rakim... its about the feel of the music.... theres plenty of people out there who write amazing lyrics, but nobody wants to hear them, cause they CANT FLOW.
