Not sure if its been said already, but being able to move diagonally would be handy.. takes ages to get anywhere still.

Ok there would be 3 types of land that each square would be, friendly neutral or enemy

friendly would give you a bonus to movement speed and your stats

neutral does nothing

enemy would reduce your movement and your stats

How do you controll the land for your gang ?

If the land is neutral and un-occupied you would simply move onto the land and for example use item, spraypaint, and that square would turn your colour

If an enemy is standing on the square you want and he has it painted his gang colour, u will have to try and knock him out to take that square for your team, if you can beat him (factoring in the deffensive/offensives bonus from him being on friendly territory and you beng on enemy), move onto his square and attack., when he is knocked out use item spraypaint and job done, you now have the defensive bonus on that square.

Can 1 person controll more than 1 square ?

I suggest that 1 person could paint and controll more than 1 square but only with a hefty % penlty to their stamina , as they would have to be using it patroling around protecting the several squares.

What happens if you leave the square u are in controll of?

It goes back to neutral, this means that to controll yard turf, u have to have members IN THE YARD but not nessicarilly online.

Gang territorys should more be in 1 big lump than a gang having lots of seperate 1 square territories.

To do this, further increase the defensive and movment bonus's players recieve on friendly territory when they have adjacent squares linked up, therefore, incouraging gangs to keep their territory together in the 1 place.

Whats the point ?

In short ,war in the yard, 1 example would be if bootleg joe appered in death row territory , and they noticed this , instead of letting others freely approach joe and buy the dvds, they would have bonus's to their stats to help them keep people out of their territoy and away from joe.

but maybe not juss u attack 1 person and get the sqare more so u have to win a few fights or some shit....

and instead of juss for joe ur gangs squares give u more money per dig or something

Taking over territory from a rival gang should be more difficult than suggested above i think maybe time based so yes defeat the player present and then hold / occupy the position for 1-2hrs defeating any challenges during this time. This could encourage team attacks as it would be difficult for a single player alone to go and take over territory also gangs would need to manage and protect their area in an organised way as once you do begin to lose area it is difficult to get back

Also not sure if this has been posted before.

We should be able to find different parts in the yard to combine into 1 item.

e.g. A car would need 4 wheels, 1 chassis, 2 doors, 1 bunch of electronics.

The parts alone would do nothing but combined they give good stats.

Also only one type of item can be found during a given time (a day or a few hours).

So, it will take you a while to complete the item (1 week, 1 month)
