that's a good post, you're right that in the end, the whole system is so screwed up with corruption and power and money, but he did promise he would fix all that and I think he's learned quickly that washington is a machine, a large machine that may not even be possible to fix. my hope was that romney would be able to push to get rid of a lot of government entities that really didn't need to be the responsibility of the government. there are layers upon layers of people who do nothing in the government, nobody gets fired. find me someone who was fired for the government because of inadequate performance.. usually it's because of scandal or fraud or something else.

Are you that naive with your irrational assumptions. You're saying people voted for Romney because they did not like the way the country was going and you think that makes them smart or logical with that decision. I strongly disagree because its one thing to not vote for someone who you perceived as a bad leader for the country but to turn around and vote for someone with no plans at all is just hypocritical and very incompetent i might add. It's the same as if i told you to invest your money with me and i will double your money within 2 months but i never told you how i will acquire that but being the dummy that you are you went and did it anyway and that seems like a logical thing to you.

I'm vote republican for a number or reasons....pro-life,against same sex marriage,pro charter schools..the Democrat party does not share my viewpoint on just those issues...let alone fiscal issues..like Hokie said,the govermemnt is to large..I would get rid of the EPA the department of education..that alone would save billions..then address the multiple layers of duplicity that exist.

What this country needs is for both parties to come together in resolving if not all, then most of our problems. If we continue to belittle each other and try to "Veto" each other then we will be restraint from progressing. No side will fully agree with the other side plans that's laid out in hopes of betterment and its very understandable but to try and bring each other down in hopes of making someone fail rather than trying to work together to improved the economy and the country as a whole is despicable

I only wanted you to admit that people were going to vote for Romney even if he had NO PLANS on how he was going to better this country and that's why i "stick to my guns" when i say they voted fro Romney because Obama is black. Now its all over because next election it will be white vs white and lets see what these 50 percent will do then. Not a matter of admitting anything..I stated the obvious to a lot of ppl....the current fiscal/social climate makes no plan better then current plan..now as far as mitts plan..abolish obamacare would create jobs,lower tax on all people..both rich and poor stimulates economy..basic parts of mitts plan......next, I've seen white vs. white.....bush sr. vs. Dukakis,reagan vs. Mondale..reagan vs. Carter,bush vs. Gore,bush vs. Kerry...all examples of republican wins....theirs a different ideology between republicans and democrats..it's been their long b4 a black man held office....when ppl get disenfranchised w/ current model they go a different path..i.e. landslide by nixon in 72 or reagan in 84...I can see the current condition worsening over the next 4 years and having such a landslide moment...it's natural and works both ways..clinton in 92 or carter in 76.....when the many rely on the few to survive,the few will revolt....that said,count your blessings that sandy showed up to distract voters and halt mitts mojo in final week,that christy decided to pal around w/ obama on the beach (2016 self serving??) And the big 1...be lucky this election wasn't held in 2010 when voters were at their apex of obama disinchantment.
