I am from England......so i don't really get Thanksgiving.....but i do understand its a time of joy for the U.S.A and Canada.....be happy for what you have people whatever that is,family,friends,money,food.....internet access whatever and enjoy you celebrations ffs

Honestly i'm in the lower income bracket but I don't vote straight ticket even though would make sense for me to vote all democrat and definitely dont vote based on ones skin color. I didn't vote for obama or romney, but in past I have voted for republicans but mostly democrats. I just vote for who I think is the best candidate who will push things in the right direction.

I don't believe obama is responsible for everything that is wrong here he came into a fucked up spot, but I am thankful for the people that scrutinize him and point out flaws. Thats the only way things improve. Also don't think if Romney was in office all welfare would go away, so all the talk about how many is on welfare is stupid. There will always be people on welfare just the way it is.

Its fair for yall to argue, fair for shaw and hokie to point out whats wrong with nation. But honestly I don't think that makes them racist, I haven't seen them make racist comments. Seems to me the people claiming they being racist are the racists ones.

Talking all this us/we is fair for republicans and democrats but color of skin plays no role in this discussion. Lots of poor/rich donkeys/elephants of all skin colors.

Not sure how much you read, but you are missing the point! Its not that vanilla of a situation! The way the world works is that you have to give some to get some, everything will not go your way. Its about whats best for the people as a whole rather than whats best for a few!

P.S. Im not going to go thru this entire thread to point out things just to catch you up or anyone else. I know what I read and Im out.

I agree we need whats best for a whole and not a few. But that means rich and poor and everyone in between. Its hard to find middle ground to please everyone.

There always going to be un happy people, and they have the right to express that. Think its silly to be calling hokie and shaw racists though.

The people that have to degrade and deject people because of where they come from are racist. I didnt make them start calling names and stereotyping a group of people....shiiid, shank doesn't deny it and this isn't the first time he went there on the subject. I remember him going there when him and chilla got into it but chalked it up as him being pissed or drunk but now I see he thinks this way constantly and its no place for that because I don't agree with how he puts the people that I love down with prejudice!

Im not asking no one to agree with me just understand that a lot of the things he say are hurtful and further more wrong! And if I sit back and let him right stuff then Im just as guilty as he is because its people across the pond that might believe some of that crap! I for one don't care about the color, if a person is in need and I have extra than I will always lend a helping hand but some people would rather them suffer and I believe thats wrong. There are people that treats animals better than people and thats also wrong! Humans deserve to be feed and housed and clothed...everyone is put on this earth for a purpose and no one knows what the purpose is except God, so its not any of our say so to say this person doesnt need aid or that person. Its just a really touchy subject.

p.s. Im niot on any assistance program but know people that are and I know how hard they try but just cant seem to make the ends meet.
