ER rooms have a long wait because folks go in there when they get a bad cough, broken finger, etc etc instead of toughing it out for a day and going to the clinic when it opens back up the next day. Because of our entitled population, everything is an emergency if it impairs your ability to comfortably sit on your ass all day.

Well didnt Romney say thats what his healthcare plan would be? For people to go to the ER and let us foot the bill? But maybe people go to the ER because they dont have enough insurance where they can schedule an appointment for their child with a "bad cough" which is actually Asthma but they cant afford albuterol inhalers. And a broken finger is an emergency. Tough out a broken limb? You sound crazy!

So there shouldnt be doctors available at the hospital when you go there?

From watching the movie "Sicko" which I dont recall had any 15 yr olds on a mmorpg game. Seemed like Universal Healthcare was working pretty well to me.

While we bitch about this and that and that and this, Govt sits back and collects their check while doing everything but their jobs, which is to serve the people. At the end of the day its all bullshit. Obama cant do his job because Congress wont do their job. I would love for Obama to do like W did and bully the nation into doing what he wants done but then everyone would (really) call him a dictator. Congress takes his weaknesses and pushes bills like the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013(aka the Monsanto Appropriations Act) which the Republicans tacked on to it because the legislature includes shit that will keep the Govt running through September. which includes SNAP and other "entitlements" which is a rider bill thats basically a pass this or we wont do shit for you bill. So if Obama was like W he would say "man fuck y'all Imma make up some shit and so what the fuck I want to!" But since he isnt the tyrant you guys want to paint him as he doesnt. He lets the repukes have their way but he still takes the blame. And people wonder why his hair is so grey now!

First off b4 my tirade,Happy Easter to all...now wtf Worm,r u kidding me..u cite a michael moore film as your intel into americas healthcare system...I won't go on about my opinion,or many americans opinions of michael moore..but that would be like hokie or myself using say a rush limbaugh or ann coulter as our "source" of info and posting it here...you and dick and vic would stampede us outta here by using such "nutjobs" or "assholes"...and not the appropriate term of "biased"..just like michael moore is....and dick I live w/in driving distance of montreal,actually have friends up their who hate their healthcare and their tax rate that supports it, 1 wife actually kept her american citizenship so she could come home for doctor appointments because a routine breast cancer screening was scheduled for 5 months after a viable concern..and I have traveled extensively all over europe and heard similiar complaints in other nationalyzed healthcare countrys....so open your eyes and research before you assume national healthcare is the utopia you make it out to be.

I didnt say it wasnt biased. I said it seemed to be working pretty well. And It wasnt just in Canada. Americans shouldnt have to got o foreign countries to get medicine because they cant afford it here.

obama is just as bad as the next guy and he's in on the political game just like every politician. stop sucking his nuts worm. senate is ran by dems and it took 4 years for them to finally attempt to pass a budget, and they don't even pass a balanced budget.
