alright today i was just deleting shit on my comp and i think i deleted something for the sound cause i went to try and listed to sum music and no sound came out the speaker i checked the sound control settings to see if the sound was on mute but no everything was on max i think i deleted a driver i got windows xp does any 1 know a site were i can download the sound driver shit

restart your PC. if that doesn't work..
Click the start button. Then go to 'Run'
In the bar type 'cmd' and press enter
when you see the black window open; paste this in-
%systemroot%system32restorerstrui.exe
and press enter
system restore window will open
select the date of the last time your settings were working and sound should come back
