Just a suggestion from a newer inmate. I think it would be a nice addition if the price of goods fluctuated. That way inmates could watch the market for different items, buy low, and sell high based on the trends. just a thought.

how would that work beyond the usual fluctuations from inmates selling items higher or lower that usual? i've always thought the prices on some items make no sense

I was thinking the same thing, certain times of the day (or at random) you'll get better deals on certain products. It should keep the marketplace more competitive and dynamic IMO. Or it could be a logical fluctuation too, based on demand, if there's a lot of Large Waters in the Open Market for example (Many under the retail price in the prison) the demand will go down so the regular item shop will lower prices based off of that. Contrarily, if there's high demand for items that aren't stocked well in the open market prices will go up in the item shop. It's all about inflation

Of course there would be hundreds of factors determining the fluctuations that's one idea (and would actually be cool since users themselves could create inflation and deflation).

I try, its just an idea ive seen in other MMORPG's and thought it would be a nice addition here... see yall around bc unlike most lvl 2's i WILL BE around
