Before you post a thread like this, there are some things you should know:

-"appologies" is spelled with a single "p"

-"thier" - "i" before "e," except after "c"

-"becomes rendered inefficient" - superfluous, "becomes rendered" is repetitious

-"phonetic" would mean the words are spelled in relation to how they are pronounced, and i assume where he says "cuh on hood man," he intends to say "come on hood man"...i've never heard anyone verbalize "come on" in such a manner.

know the shit you're bitching about, you pseudo-intellectual prick.

also, i interact with other players on this game in the manner they communicate with me. if its slang, i use slang; if it's proper english, i go with that. it builds a relationship and denotes a certain parallel between that player and myself that benefits me. i don't ridicule someone from a keyboard for messaging me certain ways, i interpret via context, if necessary, and move on, because i would gain nothing in doing so.

but i'm sure "as somebody who studies sociology" you already knew that. i hope your freshman year was a blast.

i have to agree with this thread! sometimes its just impossible to read. i don't have a problem with peoples bad grammar or spelling cause mines shite too, but some of it just doesn't make any sense at all. mrcarter makes a pretty good point on #15 post, but what happens if they talk jiberish? do you make your response illegible?

also, don't know why people are calling him a nerd. big headed and full of himself maybe (by pointing out his degree and slagging people) but a nerd is a bit ironic considering playing rpg's in the first place is nerdy and using words like noob, -fail, pwnage and trolling are extremely nerdy and used constantly on this forum
