R/C Nitro Cars Vs R/C Battery Cars
Hi im a great Fan and collector of Nitro cars and have been doing it for about 2yearsnow i do have many cars and many shells that i really like. It does cost a small fortune especailly the Nitro cars and you could spend thousands on them. I do have a few cars and these are :
Bmw Gtr M3 Thunder Tiger TS-4N Pro Sport x3 (2 are nearly new and 1 is been used)
Thunder Tiger DT-10 x3 (1 of these is a runner with a tune needed.1 is just for spares and the last 1 is nearly finished)
Vauxhall Astra Kyosho x1 (This is a kit ive got to make myself at some point)
Ansmann- Unknown (Needs a few bits and bobs getting before this goes up on ebay some time this year)
Ive had many types of Nitro cars but i do like to stick with my Thunder Tigers it may be that i know more about them and what there worth. Kyoshos arnt to bad but i like to stick to what i know. I would like to hear about peoples choices of what they like and if they have one what they have got. I do know that battery Remote control cars are better to race with and you dont have to tune them but id still like to keep nitro cars but wouldnt mind having the odd battery car like a Tamiya or something. I really cant wait to see what people say thanks in advance.

No offense but yer weird xD
But I want an RC M1A2 Abrams
but I don't think it exists...but if it did I woul dmake it armed...

I like remote control cars so im wierd when i was a younger lad i loved remote control cars what was yours Barbie dolls. Suicide your a idiot

Tamiya's the best i think for models and R/C.
i use to own the 98 castrol toms supra which took months to get hold of, i also had a 2003 castrol supra, lol the TL01 chasie was the best of them all, i put a RC plane power motor in that thing and it went like stink. but im more interested in the models though, id make a list but it would be too big lol, but my favourite car ever is the toyota supra by far.
i tweaked the TL01 so much lol, i even went as far as paying £80 for servo's that could make the wheels move bricks with out struggling .
Try tamiya out there build quality is amazing compared to the rest.
Nice 1 Rapist ive heard of them before as when i sent my shells of to ireland to a bloke called Andy he used to do all his shells on Tamiya shells that are used for the TL01 Chassis and they are great there is quite a few on Google. Im going to try a battery one soon and i think im going to go for that chassis myself. Im not to good at tuning the nitro cars all the time so it would be cheaper and better to go for a battery car.

yeah there a lot cheaper to maintain and are very durable. the 4x4 system is belt driven so its really simple to convert to rwd.
but the gearbox's in those things can handle a lot of strain, the only thing i sugest changing on those things though are the plastic bearings it comes with, buy some metal ones cos the plastic ones wear out too fast, you could probably use the metal bearings that your nitro cars use any way (there the round things that are on each side of all the crank shafts).
also buy a proper controll box, they use less energy, there more responsive and require 1 less servo to operate as they supply you with the old fashioned victorian servo controled-controll board.
you can probably use a variaty of parts off youre nitro cars on the TL01 also.
I'm the idiot eh? You're the little girl crying because someone called you a weirdo? I think that's rather hilarious that you call me the idiot. Why don't you go grow a pair? Geeze. "31642013" is more man than you are. No offense there hon xD.
I've personally never liked RC cars/toy because it's 3 hours of charging for minutes of play-time, that and they break to easily, and if their adjustment goes whack it's a bitch to fix them, that's why I called you weird.
Now, if you had said RC airplanes, I might've been interested
.
