I respect the commitment he put into his work everyday, cant find any coach that could out work him. It was a sad ending to a great legacy.

When they fired him I said he would be dead within 6 months because they took the only thing he was living for...R.I.P. JOE PA

A great football mind and trailblazer....set records and did great things for football.

Should have done more to protect the people around him though.

Even though he didn't do those unspeakable things himself, he did know about it and did nothing about it.

A issue that is much greater then any football games.

everytime I think of Joe Pa's death I always think of Joe Frazier.

His passing went below the radar because he died when the Penn state shit was first released.

R.i.p the late Joe Frazier , pardon me yall the great Smoking Joe Frazier.

yes joe did report it to the chairman which legally cleared him from any wrong doing. but even joe himself said he should have done more. I mean he found this out in 2002, and reported it up but not one report or disciplinary action came out for nine years. he could of fired the guy he ran the football program, no way there would be an assistant there that he didn't want there. Joe could of been the one single person that this kid trusted to tell, and he didn't go through with what he should have done, who knows how many more kids got abused those following 9 years

Exactly Neo...

Sure Joe Pa did lots of good, but I'd argue what he DIDN'T do caused far more pain and damage.
