I'm sick of these douchebag "learn english" fucks, these are people who you KNOW don't know more than one language, they want the rest of the world to learn english, same type of people that go to foreign countries and expect everyone to speak english cuz they too damn lazy to learn their language.

I know people been living here for 30 years, they can communicate in english but they are just better in their native tongues which is logical, not everyones going to have an amazing grasp on a new language especially if theyre older folk

jay my friend your missing it, hes not asking the whole world to learn english jsut the residence of alabama, he would make it to where tht their state wouldnt cater to bending over backwards for ppl tht only speak another language other than english.

and no i do not always agree with these things. i spent a yr in iraq where them guys didnt knw wtf u were saying to i had to learn arabic...not easy!

Fuck this guy my wife can speak 4 langues fluintly and this guy is acting like english is the only language in the world what a compleate twat north america isnt the center of the univers wish people would wake up

It is racist to single out a group of people. If you want them to learn english there are far better steps to take than this. Im not learning another language thats for sure but you cant expect them to know english from day 1.

Yes there are those who do not try to learn it and live here but I know of lots of people that still are hard to understand but they put the effort into it and doing the test in the language you speak best makes a lot of sense.

Look where I come from the signs are in TWO languages one being English even tho we aint even CLOSE to UK/America/Asutralia, but we promote and encourage language learning, therefore you can be from USA, Russia, Africa, don't matter you can succeed there. They really teach people languages there not like America's HS Espanol curriculum. Fuckin' hola to you too.

It has nothing to do with learning multiple languages. Its about English in the United States. I know english, spanish, and a good part chinese. Gettting around in American pulic institutions and places means English.
