I did a search and was unable to find this before. The same way you take a hit, couldn't there be a button to resign the hit?

For example, I accept the contract, work at it when I am able, however the contract gets to be 90% complete and there are 7 people above me with much higher percentages of completion. I will obviously not be able to complete this contract, so I could resign.

Just a thought. Thanks

or you could just forget about it?

Miraculously, you manage to catch Whispario off-guard and snatch $5,253 from him You catch gabots, and manage to take $9,315 in cash from him. You earn 113306 EXP!

Obviously, however when I go to look at my hitlist, the useless ones are still there. Helpful comments would be appreciated. Useless sarcasm is wasted.

if you resigned wouldn't that just make you lose your progress? what if it was a top 3 contract? you mess up the whole hit by doing that

That is what I mean Artix. Like right now there is a contract that awards the top 3 contractors. I am at like a couple percent. There are 50%, 35%, etc like 4 people above me. The contract is 95% of the way done. What is the point of me continuing with this?

if you quit and you have say 35%, and the hit is say at 98% if you quit you are reducing the hit to 63% thus people have to waste extra exp to complete the hit. you making peoples lives worse

It wouldn't reduce the % completed if there were (as she said) three or more people above her.

I could see this working if it keeps your % but removes the hit from your list
