When we are on an event and we dig up stuff i think the option to send it back to items would be good....so 3 options use,add to backpack or send to items......very easy and very helpful.....cheers

This would make the yard too easy. Your backpack space should be an issue, which is why you have to jump through hoops to upgrade it.

We want users to have to run back home to empty the good stuff from their packs, and then come back out for more.

The only reason amenities are sent directly to your cell when you pick them up is because of technical issues. If it weren't for amenities causing trouble inside your backpack, I'd have you bitches carrying them all the way home when a quest giver gave you that reward.
